Following the evacuation of Sandton City after a telephonic bomb threat was received at 17:35, the South African Police Service and Bomb Squad have given the all-clear and handed the scene back to other on-site teams.

The Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) has been on the scene managing the resulting traffic congestion.
